Er würde als Mitte in einem glasüberdeckten Innenhof stehen, von dem aus leichte Brücken zu den Etagen führen, deren Räumlichkeiten ohne Zwischenwände um einen großen quadratischen Innenhof ständen, würde ein solches Gebäude jemals errichtet.

Die Geschoßhöhen wurden mit fünf Metern Höhe gezeichnet, um sich das Skizzieren zu erleichtern. Es handelt sich um eine schematische Zeichnung, mit der ausgelotet wurde, ob sehr durchsichtige Hochhausbauten interessant wirken können. Das Gebäude sollte auf einem überaus einfachen Bausystem beruhen, aber trotzdem möglichst abwechslungsreich wirken. Die Decke über dem Erdgeschoß wurde etwas zurückgenommen, um einen überhöhten Innenraum erlebbar zu machen. Erst als das ganz leicht gewölbte Tonnendach gezeichnet wurde, hielt ich die gezeichnete Idee für ausgewogen.

Designtorget operates several businesses in Sweden and Norway, with products by young designers from Scandinavia. This project was developed as a prototype for additional retail outlets in Italy. Despite a limited budget (50,000 euros), an innovative shop concept with strong recognizability should re-emerge for a young audience. The approach should be applied to different urban and spatial situations sein.
Shopkonzept
Entwickelt wurde eine raumbildende Hülle für die Präsentation und den Verkauf der Produkte. Sie sollte aus einem einzigen Material geformt und von den Farben des “Nordlichtes” inspiriert sein.Die Analyse der verschiedenen funktionalen Anforderungen (Regale für Designobjekte, Schmuckvitrinen, Ausstellungsfläche für Uhren und Brillen, Verkaufspult, Hintergrund- und direkte Beleuchtung) führte zu einer Modellierung des Innenraumes als fließende Form von geschwungenen und geraden Paneelen aus transluzentem Acrylglas. Der Übergang Boden – Wand - Decke ist großteils aufgelöst und erzeugt eine dynamische Raumsituation, in der das frei auskragende Verkaufspult den optischen Abschluss bildet. Die Raumhülle schafft eine autonome und flexible Einheit. Sie kann sowohl in ein bestehendes Lokal eingebaut werden, oder frei aufgestellt, als Showroom für Werbe- und Messeveranstaltungen zur Anwendung kommen.Durch entsprechender Auslegung der Hintergrundbeleuchtung mittels dimmbarer Leuchtstofflampen (additive Farbmischung) soll ein fließender Übergang der Farbverläufe angestrebt werden.
Ausführung Prototyp
Die Raumhülle wurde in ein bestehendes zweigeschossiges Lokal einer Geschäftspassage im Zentrum von Bozen eingebaut bzw. eingeschoben. Die Positionierung im bestehenden Lokal gliedert dieses in drei funktionale Bereiche: Eingangsbereich mit Vitrine, Ausstellungsplattform with sales and service with connecting stairs to the warehouse in the basement. A peripheral frame structure of steel profiles with the point-fixed "skin" tranzluzenten acrylic glass panels. For cost reasons, were used as an alternative to the additive color mixture for the white fluorescent backlight and selected for the skin a blue frosted acrylic glass. All elements of the room envelope (steel frame, panels of acrylic glass skin, wooden floor) are prefabricated. The curved, and could be reduced to 4 standard forms by hot-formed panels of the negative space envelope. The consistent prefabrication and modularity of components eizelnen enabled low Construction costs and a quick installation on-site. The entire space envelope, including lighting system was installed in 5 working days.
2006, submitted the project at the International Architecture Award " contractworld.award " where it will be selected from 104 participants in the category of store design to the 10 most innovative shop concepts.
