Diese konnte nun gleich im Anschluss an die Abnahme erfolgen. Für mich eine Erleichterung, so konnte ich mich am Donnerstag auf organisatorische Dinge für die Eigenleistungen konzentrieren.

Das Vermessungsbüro meldete sich erstmals im Dezember bei uns. Die Vermesser kamen mehrmals im Auftrag unseres Architekten auf unser Grundstück. Erst wurde ein Lage- und Höhenplan gefertigt. Danach ein Lageplan zum Bauantrag. Und zuletzt wurde die Feinabsteckung vorgenommen und uns als Riss zur Verfügung gestellt.


Die Rechnungslegungen erfolgten immer nach den einzelnen Arbeitsabschnitten.

Also ging es guten Mutes am 28.01 früh bei Zeiten los. Es Schneite, im Verkehrsfunk wurde überall in der Region Glatteis gemeldet, Autobahnen waren wegen Unfällen gesperrt. - Das ging ja gut los! – Wir fuhren bzw. rutschten dann auf der Landstraße im Schneckentempo und in höchster Tension to our goal: Freienwalde.

Wir teilten beiden Herren telefonisch unsere Entscheidung mit und damit begann die Arbeit an der Finanzierung!
Auf dem Postweg, per Internet und Telefon begannen die Vor- bzw. Zuarbeiten.
Wir bekamen ein Finanzierungsangebot mit genau den Inhalten, die uns vorschwebten: zinsgünstig, Rate in Höhe unserer bisherigen Miete, gleichbleibend über die gesamte Laufzeit, Tilgungssatz während der Laufzeit änderbar, Sondertilgungen jährlich möglich und Höchstlaufzeit 20 Jahre.

Herr Windisch kam dann zweimal zu uns nach Hause, immer wenn es zu Vertragsunterzeichnungen kam und wichtige Vorgehensweisen dem Gespräch bedurften. Es wurde uns mehr und mehr klar, dass wir auch diesmal mit unserer Entscheidung genau richtig lagen. Herr Windisch wurde neben Herrn Slowikowski unser wichtigster Ansprechpartner, auch bei Dingen, die uns umtrieben, die nicht ausschließlich mit Finanzierung zu tun hatten. Er war able to reassure us, to encourage and motivate us to do the same as before and the anxieties to keep in check.

Für uns stand fest:
Wir versuchen uns so gut wie möglich abzusichern.
Jedem Gespräch über Grundstückskauf, Hauskauf, Bauvorhaben, Finanzierung folgten Beratungsgespräche bei der Verbraucherzentrale or the lawyer!

Also schauten wir auch nach Häusern erst zur Miete und dann mit einem leichten Hang zum Größenwahn – so glaubten wir – mutmaßten wir, dass es vielleicht besser wäre, und auf die kommenden Jahre gesehen auch günstiger, ein Haus zu kaufen oder selbst zu bauen!

Huch, was war denn das für ein Gedanke!?
Aber, was kann es schon schaden, sich dahingehend mal kundig zu machen?
